Jabra Enhance Select Bluetooth Question

I’m sure there’s a technical reason for this.
I can connect my hearing aids to both my phone or my iPad via Bluetooth. But I cannot them to my Samsung TV without purchasing Jabra’s $300 TV Receiver. Different levels of Bluetooth technology i guess.

Aids WITHOUT devices for tv?

I stream TV thru a Roku box. With the Roku box I am able to use the Roku app on my iPhone and direct the audio from the Roku box to my iPhone and from my iPhone to my Jabra Pro 10 aids. The Roku app allows me to adjust any audio delay to ensure audio matches the actors lips. Sound is muted to the TV speaker so not helpful for multiple viewers, but works quite well for times when it’s just me. Roku box was approx $35 at Walmart and I can watch Hulu, Apple TV, Netflix, etc thru the box

Yes, different kinds of Bluetooth. You’re connecting to your iPhone and iPad with Made for iPhone technology using LE Bluetooth. Your TV uses Classic BT. The TV Receiver is well worth it. It will have lower latency than any Bluetooth and use less battery power.
