Jabra Enhance Select 500 vs. Jabra Enhance Pro 30

Does anyone know what the difference is between Jabra Enhance Select 500 and Jabra Enhance Pro 30? I was looking into OTC hearing aids and heard about them being pretty good and they can compare to Resound. But which Resound is it comparable to? Vivia? Nexia?

It is my understanding that they are equivalent to the Nexia 5 hearing aids .
The Jabra enhansed pro 20 is equivalent to the Nexia 9 . the 30 is the same as the resound vivia 9

They seem to cost about the same so not sure why anyone would go with otc for the same price as prescribed and professionally fitted aids. Plus Costco gives 6 months to try the Pro 30’s out.

Because my Audiologist charges a lot for hearing aids. Like Widex Allure cost me $3,200 per hearing aid. With Jabra Enhance Pro 30, I heard that it’s similar to Resound Vivia GN and cheaper.

Much cheaper at Costco. A pair costs $1,700 at most locations. I believe you get a longer warranty then the OTC one, and they offer a free replacement of one hearing aid if you lose one.

BUT - you have to join Costco to get a hearing test there. Membership was as low as $60 recently, but I think the price just went up. Of course, you don’t have to pay for Costco’s hearing test, and you can save a few dollars if you purchase HAs there.

I do have a membership with Costco and definitely do not need to do a hearing test. I have done like 2-3 in the last month.

My Costco will not even talk to me about getting a repair of my Jabra 20’s (which I purchased from a relative) with out having had a current hearing test by costco (any costco) .

You don’t need to get your hearing test done at Costco.

Here in Washington state, as long as it’s been 6 months or less, you can bring in your audiogram done somewhere else and they will accept it.

as a new customer at my Costco I have had to make an appointment for a test before they will even talk to me about getting HA’s repaired …
