I’ve just received my Jabra Enhance Pro 30 hearing aids. I’d like to download the fitting software for these, but have had no luck finding it. Does anyone know where I can find the fitting software?
Cheers, Rob
Welcome to the forum, great your giving DIY a go, please be sure to research and read the user guides before starting your DIY projects, and don’t forget you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device.
Hi, I am also looking for the ReSound SmartFit software to program a pair of Jabra Enhance Pro 30 from Costco.
FYI: I was discussing some of the software options with the Costco Technician and some options like Tinnitus support are greyed-out/unavailable for them to select.
Welcome to the forum, great your giving DIY a go,yeah tinnitus, it’s unfortunate they don’t want to set this up for people, you won’t have an issue doing so yourself, but please be sure to research and read the user guides before starting your DIY projects, and don’t forget you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device.
tenken,
Can you confirm that both the Noahlink Wireless and the Noahlink Wireless 2 both will work for programming?
They will both work just fine … get the one that is the lowest price and meets your delivery needs.
Hello to all. Newbie to self-programming. Want to learn more about the Jabra Enhance 30 by using fitting software. Anyone have info or link for download?
Welcome to the forum, you’ll need the ReSound SmartFit software for those and of course the Noahlink wireless programming device.
I have been having a problem with the SmartFit software. The software recognizes my Jabra Enhance Pro 30 hearing aids and allows me to assign them but I cannot continue to fitting. I tried with the software version 2.1.305.8 and the updated version 2.1.305.17. I thought I read somewhere that when the software detects a Jabra device it would switch to Jabra mode from Resound. If that is supposed to happen I do not know how to get it to switch. Any assistance you can provide would be great.
Do you get to a screen that has a message that the instruments do not match the list But you can still program and save setting … then click continue for a second time.
It should then load the settings from your Jabra HA’s
You may have to turn the HA’s off and back on again… make sure the bluetooth it OFF on your phone !
Did you make up a client and all before trying, and as mentioned the HAs can’t be connected to any other bluetooth device, so be sure to turn all bluetooth devices off while trying to connect.
Hello, I have the new Jabra 30’s from Costco. They are great by the way. I have been reading around the web and see that I could try doing my own programming. I am fairly techie and like the idea of trying this DIY programming. Could I receive the appropriate software for the new Costco Jabra Pro 30’s… THANK you for your help.
Hi there, great your giving DIY a go, be sure to do some research and read the user guides before starting, you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device as well for your DIY projects
Okay so I still cannot get the software past the “Continue” screen. I tried using the “Try Again” button and “Continue” button but they just bounce me back to the start screen.
- I open the software and select my name a Patient and click “Fit Patient” (previously I added my Audiograms to my profile).
- ReSoundGN starts and I click “Connect to ReSound Smart Fit” then select Noahlink Wireless and “Search”
- It finds both Pro 30s and it assigns them as Right & Left Instrument and I can use the “Beep” button to hear the beeps in each.
- When I hit “Continue” it displays “Both instruments that you are about to connect do not appear on your instrument list in fitting software. But you may still fit and save changes to instruments.”
- When I hit “Continue” again I get “Connection Error” “Unable to connect to the hearing instrument(s). Ensure that our hearing instrument(s) has sufficient battery level. If the error persists then disconnect and reconnect your programming interface.”
- If I hit “Try Again” I go into a loop that gets me to Step 5 above, if I hit “Continue” I loop back to Step 2 “Connect to ReSound Smart Fit”.
I am on a PC with Windows 11. I am using an Airlink 2 with firmware updated to 2.25 and the software recognizes as a Noahlink Wireless device. I tried it Smart Fit versions 2.1.305.8 and updated to 2.1.305.17. Are there specific settings that are needed to get the software to work?
Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.
I have no real idea why you can’t connect your Jabra, it seems your doing it correctly, obviously there’s one step that I don’t know about because I don’t have Jabra to test, but right now the only thing that comes to mind is the 2min limit in connection mode and not having any bluetooth devices turned anywhere nearby.
There have been times that I have had to turn my Phone OFF to make connection
I will be getting the jabra pro 30 tomorrow … I will see what happens with it.
