Jabra Enhance Pro 20 and Unite Remote Control 2 vs Simple Remote

Anybody know if the GN Unite Simple Remote Control works with the Jabra Enhance Pro 20 HAs?

According to the spec sheet here on HearingTracker, the GN (ReSound) Remote 2 works. But I find no info on whether the smaller 3-button GN (ReSound) “Simple” Remote also is compatible.

it works on the same model from ReSound it will work on the Jabra as they are exactly the same models.

My Jabra Multi-Mic failed. The replacement is branded ‘ReSound’. My bet is if it works on Nexia, it worsks on Jabra Pro 20.

It definitely will as Jabra are rebranded ReSound, as a side note they also work with Beltone as well.

I have the Resound RC-1 remote control. Will it work with Jabra Enhanced Pro 20 aids?

Thanks.

Yeah it’ll work on any 2.4GHz HAs from ReSound.

Thanks. I can’t get them to pair. The instructions for the RC-1 only show how to pair with hearing aids which have the replaceable battery.

I wonder what the battery has to do with it tho, 2.4GHz is what ReSound claim to work with, I’ll have a look in SmartFit and see if it’s listed there to use, where did you get the remote from, Costco?

I don’t see anything in SmartFit, so how do you turn on and off your rechargeable models, put them in the charger and then remove them? or some other way, looking at that user guide you mentioned says you only get 20sec to pair after pushing the pin button on the back of the remote.

I tried turning on and off by holding down the button for five seconds. I think the aids may have paired with the remote control, but don’t react to commands or display any data. The remote control would have to include the specific HA model in the firmware in order to effectively communicate with it in any significant way…maybe.

Yeah you could be right on that, I wonder if ReSound support would know, but all the other ReSound accessories work with Jabra and Beltone so you’d think this remote wouldn’t be any different?
