I have Jabra Enhance 500 Premium. I have a Samsung S21 Ultra 5G phone. I have my phone bluetoothed to my hearing aids. My phone volume is turned up all the way.
If I receive a phone call, I cannot really hear the other person talking without putting forth a LOT of effort. They sound like they are a mile away and I just barely BARELY hear them. I have to go to my speaker on my phone and then everybody hears the conversation.
On my TV streamer, the Jabra app has a slide volume button that turns the volume up and down. I cannot find a volume control to increase the volume streamed by a phone call to my aids… I contacted Jabra and I have not been impressed with how fast they get back to you, so I thought someone here might help.
BTW:
The Jabra Enhance Select 500 is the same thing as the ReSound Nexia 5. I was told this when I called Jabra support.
First Try:
system > accessibility> hearing enhancements > hearing aid support > hearing aid compatibility
This helps some phones increase call volume.
Then under:
system > accessibility> hearing enhancements > adapt sound
You can setup your own personal sound profile or pick one of the presets. They increase certain frequencies.
I also use the Poweramp Equalizer app when streaming. You can adjust the 10 band equalizer separately for each ear. It is under the parametric settings. You can increase the gain there as well.
