I recently bought some Jabra Elite 8 Gen 2 ear buds for streaming music when I am not wearing my hearing aids. Within just a few minutes of trying them in my ears, my ears felt like they were on fire. I just checked the spec and they are silicone. Could this be a one off experience, possibly due to wrong size dome or should I assume that I should avoid silicone in the future? I have been using a pair of Sennheiser earphones for the last 10 years without any issues, but I have no idea what they were made of.
I have the gen 1s and have no problem so I assume you have an allergic reaction to something in the earbuds. Good luck .
