Is it worth fixing a 5 year old Phonak Nadia S?

My 5 years old Phonak Nadia S cracked up (mic goes on and off - probably a bad mic).
Is it worth repairing or better to buy a new one? I had it repaired once by HearSource
8 months ago (warranty was only 6 months).

It might be worth sending it in for at least a quote to see what it will cost to repair. I had a mic replaced on my Oticon HA at Direct Hearing Aid Services in Garden Grove, CA several years ago and the cost of the mic and the repair was $142.99. If you want to give them a try their phone # is 1-800-580-4327. Good luck!

Thank for your answer. Others, DHAS is at

They seem cheaper than Hear Source

It turns out my HAs (i thought several broke down!) were just fine. My earmold was all clogged up. Unfortunately, I broke the ear clip (tube between HA and earmold). Do anyone knows where to buy Phonak ear clip? right now, I am using an earclip from my ancient Oticon HA - doable,
but it is longer. Earmold, I took the tube out and replaced it. Everything is fine except broken Phonak ear clip.

Exactly what is this part (.4 inch tube between HA and earmold) called? I trying to search for it on the internet.

Is this what you are looking for? http://www.amazon.com/Phonak-Hearing-Micro-Tubes-2B-Right/dp/B00E0GL9GY/ref=sr_1_11?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1446896747&sr=1-11&keywords=hearing+aid+tubes

I would also look on ebay. That’s quite a price on those. But, if you need it and its the only source…

Another place to try is lloydshearing.com. Besides being online, they have an audiology practice and a relationship with the manufacturers.

Take a look at this site it might have what your looking for. advancedhearing.com/tubes-domes/phonak

I think you’re referring to the earhook. Naída S uses HE7 680 (part# 004-1207-001) or HE7 (004-1865-001). The 680 indicates damped or filtered. They come in packs of ten.

Thank for all the replies.

They are called earhook - sometimes called elbow.

I got a few from Lloyds (lloydshearing.com).
