Is it possible to use wax guard on BTE slimtube?

I watched some videos and didn’t find anyone use this like those use wax guard on RIC.
but for thick tube, it seems there is wax guard in the ear hook like this:

if no wax guard the screw hole looks like empty and nothing more to protect so wax may directly goes into the aid. and to me it is easier to clean the wax guard than clean the slim tube(so I don’t have to screw off the tube to clean it each time).
So,is it good idear,possible to use wax guard on BTE slimtube? anyone has experience using in this way?

It’s to stop moisture and help with frequency response rather than wax.

Wax won’t get that far unless you never clean your hearing aids.

You just have to replace the whole ear hook if that filter needs changing. They are super cheap.

Slim tube don’t have one but if you take care of the hearing aids then wax won’t get into the hearing aid.

I removed these foam dampers by using a music wire thru the ear hook to get more gain. I clean my earmolds a few times a week for any earwax. Twice a month l use a ear cleaning kit and ear drops like earMD to soften ear wax. Some people produce less or excessive earwax in their ears.
I have a hearing aid dryer to remove moisture. I get the ear hooks free from my hearing aid seller or audiologist. They sell for 15 dollars each in eBay which is highway robbery for a tiny piece of plastic.
