Is it possible to convert the ".estl" file from iScan to STL?

HI,

I have a 3D file from an iScan device that I cannot use. The extension is “.estl” and I was wondering if there is a way or if someone can convert it to STL?

Thanks!

Vink

Could this help….
MeshInspector supports various formats including point clouds, meshes, voxels, DICOM, and G-code:
.stl, .obj, .off, .dxf, .step, .stp, .ctm, .3mf, .model, .ply, .pts, .asc, .csv, .xyz, .e57, .las, .laz, .gtlf, .glb, .tif, .tiff, .gcode, .txt, .dcm, .raw, .vdb, .gav.

github may have some ideas. Are you sure .estl is related to .stl?

There is iScan for scanning documents, iScan for assessing medical samples, iScan for cars, etc.
What does your iScan device do? What do you use it for?
Once we know the answer, the forum will then be able to better answer your question.

Hi Vink!
I suggest MeshLab. It’s a software for editing and processing 3d models. Btw, it’s free. You can load the ‘.estl’ files into the soft and export it to stl format. If you don;t want to use the meshlab on your pc, you can also use some online stuff like Convertio or Online 3d Converter. They also convert filest into different formats.
