Insurance Submission for Costco KS9

I have BC/BS and turned mine in with all the papers Costco gave me when I had picked up the aids. After 2 weeks I got a letter saying they needed a diagnostic code from the provider, went back to Costco, they copied the code on to the return letter to Blue Cross and I mailed it in. Two weeks later I got the check from Blue Cross. All very painless and they reimbursed me 100% making the aids (signature 9) completely free to me.

My understanding is that BC/BS, and probably other insurance as well, require the code, procedure, etc that are specific to the insured and the services and products provided. My further understanding is that this is the case because insurance coverage provided by BC/BS is only for “medically necessary” conditions,

I guess you have extra bcbs insurance. just depends on your premiums

What I have is Medicare Plus Blue PPO, I don’t know if thats extra insurance or not, just what I have had for the last 15 years since I retired.
