In 2016 I have bought INTRA STARKEY SOUNDLENS MUSE SYNERGY 2000 IIC
All the HA setting were done by my audiologist
That was very long to have the right setting, you can’t imagine the number of times I met my audiologist
Results were good but it was long and painful make all those meetings
In 2018 I just renew with INTRA STARKEY SOUNDLENS SYNERGY iQ 2400 IIC
And I decided to be independant for setting my HA , with objective to test more setting and find the perfect one myself in my living room
I discovered this forum, thanks to PVC’s advises I have installed Inspire 2018, found a mini-pro with cables, and were able to adjust my new HA ! Many thanks that’s a new life opening for me.
Now I would like to transfert the setting of my old HA, to the new ones
But Inspire (2018 version) does return an error message when I plug the old HA
Has anyone faced same issue ? Does anyone understand the following logs ?
Thanks for your help !
FirmwareDefinition.SetParamGroup: Invalid Parameter(s) Value Specified for MemoryTypeID of ‘RAM_AutoAcclimatizationLog’.

When I’m connecting my new hearing aids I can save session
When I’m connecting my old hearing aids I can change setting but can’t save session (I have an error message mentioned in my previous post). It seems the software can’t read my old HA setting
Okay, maybe you do have the 2019 version??
2018 can get corrupted to look like 2019 when/if you take updates.
So tell me about the original installation file.
2018 is a folder named (Starkey Inspire 2018.0.10291.0)?
2019 is a .exe file named (Starkey Setup 19.0.10206.0.exe)?
I think you are saying that your old (INTRA STARKEY SOUNDLENS MUSE SYNERGY 2000 IIC) have two different Firmware versions for right/left? Is that correct? Try Reading Device Settings instead of Performance update which I assume is a Firmware update.
eta> Also why are you connecting the old HAs? You cannot transfer the settings. Let’s verify your Inspire software version first.
Hi PVC, you are right I have two different Firmware versions right / left on my old HA.
A click on Reading Device Setting or Performance Update is failing when I select the right HA (see error message above).
But successful when I select the left HA
So that’s why I think the Firmware version of right HA is the cause.
I’m connecting the old HA because I want to make a swap fit to the new ones. And make some potential adjustments as back-up HA
Maybe your Audi left you with the problem of two different firmware versions on your old hearing aids? He/she had to know about this, right?
Going forward you may need to scrap (or repair) the old hearing aids. You cannot transfer settings anyway. Start from the beginning with the new iQ 2400 hearing aids and do a First Fit based on your audiogram.
I will try with an older Inspire version (I have the 2015 on in a USB key) and see if I can upgrade the HA firware by this workaround. Or ask my audio to do it itself.
Hello, a quick update:
Finally I have been able to upgrade the right (old) HA myself.
I did a reset of the HA with Inspire (Menu Tools > Clear Settings and Reset Device), and I could update successfully with no error message anymore
After that I did a best fit because I lost previous config of course
