I have Oticon Real 1’s. My Au.D has been having problems adjusting out some irritating problems… I am in the trial period which ends just after the next visit in 2 weeks. If I know I can carefully interact and DIY tune my HA, I will keep them, otherwise they will go back. I like the Real 1 in my right ear, (my bad ear) and it is set perfect for hearing and streaming music. But my left ear Real 1 adjustment sucks, like listening in a tin can without any base.My Au.D is aware of my situation and has said we can try again to find a remedy, in 2 weeks. Thank you ahead of time.

Welcome to the forum sure but don’t forget you’ll need the correct programming device as well for your DIY projects.
Hi Im new here, my Signia hearing aids are in for repair, I have been loaned a pair of Oticon Opn S1’s . I usually program myself as my hearing changes a lot but I cant find anywhere to get Genie 2 software, I have Nohalink wireless already. Really hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
Hi there, sure it’s available, great you have your Noahlink wireless already to go, don’t forget to read the user guide as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time.
@firenzel Please can I have a link to the Oticon Genie 2 2023.1 software

Many Thanks!
Hello
I’ll be getting my Noahlink wireless soon. I came across this forum while looking for phonak “genie2”.
could someone send me a download link?
Thank you very much
@firenzel, I’m also requesting the Oticon Genie latest software. I already have a Noahlink and Target software for my Phonak Marvels. Considering the Oticon Real next and would love to do a simulation in Genie to help with my decision.
Thanks!
Hi there, actually you should base you purchase on a decent trial, but it’s good to have the software to see what features are available.
Thanks, tenkan. I do plan to do a trial. My issue is finding a good provider. I’ve had a terrible time finding one since joining this site in 2016. I’ve been making appointments just to talk and pick their brains. Two down (one seems promising), more to go. I have a difficult fit - single-sided severe loss but I want that ear aided. It’s been frustrating.
I bought my Marvels from Connect Hearing, owned by the same parent company as Phonak. I discovered after the trial period that they were totally incompetent, and then they closed the clinic where I bought them, so I had to travel an hour to another clinic to send them back to Phonak before the warranty was up. And that clinic was horrible too!
Yes it’s one of the harder things to nail down, a decent provider that your happy with, but it sounds like your having some success there, I’m not exactly sure but is Costco doing cros type hearing aids, of course you could just go with a DIY project, as may find a bit more success with your experience with Phonak
