hi I have only just started to wear hearing aids and the left one beeps when I smile lol anyone know what the problem could be?

I would say that most likely when you smile your facial muscles are changing the shape of the ear canal resulting in sound leakage and creating a feedback loop. It’s a fit issue that should be able to be resolved in a variety of ways depending on what kind of hearing aid you have.
It might take several visits to your professional to get the sound and fit just right.

What type of hearing aids do you have? You may need to have your fitter run a feedback suppression program or the HA may need to be recased.
Yes my friend had the same problem, but after a few visits back it was resolved.
