Help: Phonak Paradise P90-R: Left aid stops working every day

Your are LUCKY there! Wish there was more stability and TESTING of our newer aids with newer BT versions. But it seems the BT updates come out willy-nilly and who cares about a million folks dependent upon them to HEAR!

I joined this Forum in an effort to find answers initially but have found loads of good “stuff” here.
My problem is the left h/aid keeps going flat rapidly only since a few weeks ago. My research indicates a problem with many phone brands including my Sam S21 Ultra. An Android 12 update seems to be the issue and there have been a number of work around but no fix via an update yet. Samsung and Google are aware of the issue.

Is your Left your master Aid?

If not, then it could be another reason?

The right is the master which is why it is strange the left was going flat. Replaced the receiver but still no change. After rwo visits to audi she has sent them back to Phonak hopefully for replacement as only couple months old. Left battery would not even fully charge overnight. So I think more likely a dead battery rather than Android issue.

I too have this problem with my P50’s bought on ebay. Have had M30’s and M50’s previously, the former had to be replaced because I lost one for 2 weeks in the lake (later found, but not recoverable). Upgraded to P50’s recently and started to have the left drop out randomly. I just changed to another receiver and hope that fixes the problem. Otherwise really happy with all my Phonak devices and have learned to adjust them using the software that I managed to find online using a noahlink device to connect to my pc.

I’ve had the same problem for two weeks until I decided to insert a new CeruShield filter and guess what: problem solved. I had already made an appointment with my audiologist because I was unable to fix it. I did not think of it before because the cable of the left Hearing Aid’s speaker became separated from the tube two months earlier and the audiologist had repaired it.
