help in interpreting audiometry

Hello, thank you all very much for your previous answers. I did not imagine such a nice community and so willing to help.

in reference to my previous post:

where I asked about affordable hearing aids for my father.

I wanted to share with you the audiogram to help me interpret it. I have searched for some information, but I have some doubts…

audiometria:

I identify right and left ear.

But both have 2 extra lines.
I know that the line with the “O” is from the right ear and the line with the “X” is from the left ear.

But I don’t understand the overlapping line that has “J” and “T” or so it seems.

Can you help me to understand it to fill in my data in the forum profile? Later on we can continue to talk about the choice of headphones.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I’m sorry for my English, I’m using a translator. I try to give clear and short sentences.

Your English is fine. You’re getting your message across very well.

The lines marked x and o represent the air conduction test results. The ones marked [ and ] represent the bone conduction test results.

It is the air conduction tests that show how your ear mechanisms from the eardrum through the middle and inner ear structures are performing, while the bone conduction tests show how the mechanisms beyond that are performing. Generally, the forum would be expecting air conduction test results in your posted audiogram.
