Well, there could be a couple things going on here. What make/model aids are you wearing?
First off: most of the movies nowadays have VERY loud and distracting soundtracks, with the actors talking too fast and even muttering. It’s like a strategy to force us to lean forward and WORK to comprehend what’s being said.
That said (if you can hear it), most aids now have programs that allow you to selectively reduce that noise: Speech in LOUD Noise (Phonak).
Some aids have telecoils that are compatible with teleloop systems in movie theatres that send the audio direct to your aids - like streaming.
Hopefully, you’ll get more input here from others. While some movies are thrilling in a theatre on the BIG SCREEN, I prefer to wait till they’re at AmazonPrime or someplace where I can watch them (and STREAM them to my TV Connector) right at home.
