Hello, I have a problem with my new hearing aids, which I bought almost 2 years ago. My hearing aids are Phonak Virto Q M-90 10 Titan. Every 2-3 months I have to send these aids for service because the microphone gets clogged. They turn on, but they don’t amplify the sound. The hearing aids are carefully maintained, placed in a drying container daily with the battery compartment open. The microphone is wiped with a cotton swab. The service center claims that moisture condenses on the microphone, and each time they replace the microphone. In my opinion, the problem is that the microphone was placed inside the hearing aid rather than outside. In older models, the microphone was on the outside. Have you encountered this problem? Please help.
