Hearing Aid recommendations for low-frequency/reverse slope loss

Hello everyone.
My wife has moderate-severe low-frequency (reverse slope) hearing loss in both ears. We are just starting the journey with hearing aids. I got her a pair of Airpods Pro 2, did the hearing check on the phone, and she was amazed how much better she could hear. The Airpods seem to adapt really well to different environments. Sadly, the battery life won’t go all day and they tend to get uncomfortable after a few hours. So we decided to try hearing aids.
She’s been in the Rexton Reach (purchased at Costco) for the last month or so. We started with Costco because they have the 6 month trial period and everyone told us you need more than a month to get used to the hearing aids and to see how well they perform. Sadly, they have not helped her very much. She has been back to have them re-programmed/adjusted multiple times with little improvement. The app has also been problematic and the Rexton’s seem to get confused a lot when her phone switches between bluetooth devices.
The Airpods just work way better, but we know they are not a long-term solution.

We are looking to try a different brand. Any recommendations for low-frequency loss?
Thanks for any help offered!
