So, you think I’d con you into dialing a spam call?
That’s quite disappointing, when I’m posting helpful info for you on good faith.
All you had to do if you’re so paranoid you can’t trust a fellow tracker, is do a google search on that number…Go back to your nest, bluejay, and eat a can of worms!!
Well I’ll BE! You inspired me to search the concept of “Loopback Test” and I found lots of references! So … I CALLED the number you provided above (925-259-0082).
Yep. Heard my own voice PDQ nice and clear. This is indeed a great way to ensure that my aids are paired + connected to my phone cuz the audio streams right into my ears. Sorry for my paranoia. Comes with being a BIRD.
I’ll share this tip with my audi when I get back in to see her. Now I thank you for that info FlashBack, and am back in my nest tucking into a can of gummy worms righ now.

Yes, I felt like a DONKEY the day I picked up my new 312s not long ago. The audi was on the phone with Phonak Tech and turned to me to ask me to hand over my older rechargeable so she could remove the license from that and xfer it to the new 312 pair. It just seems needlessly complicated that Phonak pretends that we need to BUY the license for each pair of aids when there are these DIY work-arounds.
But I tried to remove the license from those rechargeables myself. Spent about an hour with the pin-tool, pressing, yada yada and never got the X mark to indicate I was successful.
