Hearing Aid Dryer with Phonak Lumity rechargeable

I’m confused as to whether or not I need to use a hearing aid dryer/dehumidifier with my phonak lumnity 90 rechargeable aids. My audiologist says no, that the charging case generates enough heat to do the job. With my previous aids, I always placed them in the dryer for storage.

I have Lumity 90’s and I don’t bother with a dryer. The hearing aids are completely sealed and moisture proof. This is one of the advantages of rechargeable hearing aids. No battery doors so much less prone to damage from moisture.

Thanks Jordan, that’s kind of what I thought, but wasn’t sure. Also, apparently, the lumity 90s with a custom ear mold do not require wax guards to be changed, or so I was told. Another great advantage.

Thanks Jordan. Good advice. Rechargable Paradise HA’s and I don’t use a dryer either.
