I’ve noticed that my Widex Moment HA’s work better if I push them closer to my ear drums. In fact, I get the best performance when I press on the outer portion of my ears - I think the body part is called the “tragus.” Obviously, I can’t be pressing on my ears all day so what’s the solution? Different size domes, custom ear moulds, something else?
Custom ear molds likely the best solution although different domes might help. I don’t think it’s distance to ear drums so much as it’s occlusiveness of fit. Pushing them in you get a better seal and less sound leaks out.
