I need to protect Jabra Pro20 HA from sweat and have tried Ear Gear Micro, which seems OK. Are there better products that serve this purpose?
A tighter fit and better looking would be nice.
I remove HA when lightly exercising or walking in a cool/dry climate because they seem to not deal with even light sweat very well. It is hard to believe these HA are rated at IP 68.
This etsy shop makes hearing aid covers and they have an optional water resistant coating available. Haven’t tried them myself, just seen them around the internet.
I did not realize that the cover can be slipped over the dome receiver and then pulled to and over the main HA body. The very experienced HA specialist at Costco did not know this either. I am now fine with the Ear Gear Micro or etsy smaller style.
None of the photos that I have seen show RIC style HA like Pro20 with the cover on, and they only show covers on BTE style. I had it on backwards, which is easier to put on but fit is poor.
It will be interesting to see how much sweat these covers can take this summer. I use a dryer at night.
