Brilliant thanks for sharing, does this actually mean we’ll no longer need the stupid Apps from the manufacturers now? By just using android.

Well I have it now with my Samsung S23 phone and have had it for about 6 months. It works great.

Well, that’s how it’s presented. Not a lot of detail in the press release, though.

Chuck you have this already? I didn’t know about it until now.

That seems odd, given the rollout mentioned in the press release. Wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t have all their ducks in a row, though.

My Samsung S23 has the option in settings for my aids for le audio. It works great. Now I don’t home the other options and more than likely would never use them or need them. I have full hands free calls. I answer calls with a double tab of my aids and I can end a call the same way. I can be in different rooms from my phone and still answer talk to a caller and hangup a call. I haven’t had anu complaints about others hearing my voice. The ringtone and caller ID is streamed to my aids.

Yeah so that’s the LE Audio, but the change of programs directly from Google settings without the need of an App is what I was hoping you had as well, but they say this will come for the S24 with android 15, so are you on the beta version I wonder, the article states only S25 to get the latest version now, I’m thinking this will be in a firmware update to the S24 so you could be lucky and get it also on S23, I’m looking forward to this, time for a new phone ; )

I don’t have extra programs.

S24+ ATT version got the fix today 2025Jan23. Check your software updates and let it download and update. Now LE audio and “Connected for calls and audio” can coexist like it was on tge S23. I have hands free with tap controls and HiFi Music both working. Yesterday they were not. Philips 9050.

I have an S23, which has LE Audio, but does NOT work with Oticon Intents. Oticon says some phones might work and it us inconsistent, so as of a week or so ago, the do not support any Samsung phones. I am in my trial period, so I am going to try out the new Phonaks, Or If I prefer the oticons I will switch to a Google Pixel phone.

I guess i am lucky because my Samsung S23 phone is working great for all streaming including habds free calls. Now I have to be careful and only have my phone connected to my aids for calls, if my connect clip is connected to my phone even just as a remote control calls don’t work. I don’t pair my connect clip to my phone but have it paired to my Amazon Fire tablet for streaming audiobooks. I only power on the connect clip at times I fairly sure I am not going to get a call.

I have s24+ and philips 9050. HA and phone both new 1st week in december. Have had the same LE Audio screen since new. However, it has glitched twice, but only for 1 day each time.

Same here (Samsung s23 Ultra). Connect your hearing aids, and in the BT settings where it says connected for calls and audio, tap the gear whell and the first option is LE Audio.

S23 Ultra with Jabra Enhance Pro 20s. My LE Audio works great as per @cvkemp.

My partner has the S24 Ultra and has been having more Bluetooth problems. She just reinstalled her app and re-paired and it seems to be doing better.
