Going round in circles with options for Bicros

I’m really stuck here I’ve been trying to find out if and when my current NHS Hearing Aid centre are going to get new options for cros aids in order to let my doctor know so as he may support me with going for funding to get rechargeable Cros aid’s but they just keep saying soon and we are looking into new options which is not enough for my doctor he wants a rough time frame because he doesn’t want to support the option for funding and then have me find out that my hearing aid centre have something when the application for funding has been done. As he is a bit worried about me having to pay for extras like adjustments outside of the funding when they could all be done on the nhs. Meanwhile my problems are just getting worse so yet again I’m stuck with emailing them to try and get a rough idea. I asked at my last appointment she was going to find out but I’ve heard nothing. I don’t want to become a problem for them but this is my only way to find out so as i can either go ahead without an issue in applying for funding or know they are going to have an option in the next few months right now i just feel like screaming. Here’s hoping i get somewhere this time.

Go via PALS to get a response from Audiology that you need.

@LRav

@Zebras thanks will give them one more chance to response and then go via pals afterwards

@Zebras I heard back from my hearing aid centre today they couldn’t give me any idea of when they would be getting new cros aid’s. All they could say is my name is on a waiting list for the newer model when they get them they will notify me which means that my doctor won’t move forward with supporting me for applying for the funding because we have no idea of when they could come in. It could be weeks or months. They did in the mean time give me some advice for getting the battery door’s open which i have already tried and it doesn’t work for me and told me to use a magnet to get the batteries out which i do but it isn’t always helpful
