Genie2 + Noahlink Wireless 2 + Oticon Real 1 cannot connect anymore

Hi there,
I have almost a band new Noahlink wireless 2 used last yar for 3 - 4 times, working well with my setup Genie2 for programming the Oticon Real 1.

Now the problem is the HAD cannot be recognized anymore by the Genie / programmer.

  • all driver is up to date
  • Genie2 was updated now, with no effect
  • Noahlink wireless seems to working well, the green led are blinking in search mode
  • the Oticon Real 1 is ok, connecting well to the smartphone Bloetooth
  • all the bluetooth was turned off nearby the device when try to connecting with the computer
  • I try to be far, or to be close to the programmer - no effect
  • I cannot figure out how the programmer can damaged by itself in a few non used months

Can anybody have similar issue? What I’m doing wrong?

When I program my Oticon Xceed, I have to open and close the battery doors. Unsure how to activate when rechargeable.

The Oticon Real have a rechargeable battery. To enter in program mode the device must be restarted. I do it of course each time. No effect.

Try to open the battery door of each hearing aid, by sticking a pin tool into the hole on the bottom of the aid and the battery door will open.

After opening the battery door, close the doors again, and put the hearing aids into the charger and let the aids sit a view minutes inside the charger slot until the LEDs lit up again.

Then try again to connect to Genie 2.

• Avoid placing the Noahlink Wireless in a USB hub with other USB devices (e.g. Bluetooth dongle)

• Connect Noahlink Wireless directly with USB Port on your PC/Laptop

• Place Noahlink Wireless on the table with a clear line-of-sight to the hearing instruments, which should be within a range of 3 metres.

• Use the USB cable deliverd with the Noahlink Wireless.

• Try another PC or different Laptop with Genie 2 and connect Noahlink Wireless with the different PC/Laptop

If the problem still persist and the HAD cannot be recognized.

Maybe there’s some kind of strong interference where you live that is causing an adverse effect on the Bluetooth connection. Have you tried using it somewhere else or outside of where you live to see if it’s then connecting ?

Put the rechargeable HA’s into the charger and then take it out again after 10 seconds. It is then restart.

Actually a 3 second press on the down button turns them off. 2 second press on up button turns them back on.
No need for charger.
@Zebras that’s how I do it with rechargeable aids.
