Just bought a pair of 9040’s. Due in about a week. I have the latest 2023.2 version thanks to the kind help of one of our forum members. Question is though will I be able to make fitting adjustments on this software, or do I need the Phillips HearSuite? Genie looks and smells the same as HearSuite when I was looking at it with the Audi at Costco. HearSuite also even has the same version number 2023.2. Only thing is that the instrument list on Genie of course does not provide for these aids specifically. Could I use Genie on the 9040’s with the Real 1 selection?
The Costco gal also said she does not believe that these aids are locked, which jives with other reports I have seen that Costco stopped selling locked aids awhile ago. The new GN/Jabra EP 20’s for example are not locked.
Appreciate any input on this from those in the know!
