Genie 2 - 2025.1

When do you think Genie 2 - 2025.1 will be released this year? Is it usually released in February?

I saw this page https://www.himsa.com/himsa-admin/oticon-modules-only-filter/ wasn’t sure if that was relating to Genie 2 with a release date of 12th December 2024

Usually updates when new models are released of something added “bug fixes” etc

Nothing new will be in new Genie, and no new products Oticon Genie 2 software - Enjoy easy hearing aid fitting

Thanks for that link. Nothing to get excited about. When I checked for latest updates it said it was still 2024.2 was the latest version.

Just updated to 2025.1 today

I just got a pop-up message prompting me to install version 2025.1.1. Does anyone know what’s different from 2025.1?

Im guessing it’s got the latest Oticon intent firmware in it

that came with Genie 2 2025.1 (version now is 2025.1.1).

Does the new Intent f/w 1.2.0 have Auracast support?

I guess not: Oticon Intent Firmware 1.2.1

I would have thought that was the purpose, as I read a post someone mentioned they had the Easy LE Adapter working on 1.1.0.
Thanks for the link.
Someone mentioned Genie 2 2025.1 has a newer GUI?

Indeed, it does! I like it.

I installed the update last week. Also a new firmware update for Oticon Intent.

My Genie 2 2024.1 won’t update to the newest version. Not sure why not.

No idea. Ours updated just fine. Did you use the Genie Updater program? It didn’t seem to do much of anything, but did update. Many changes to interface.

I am begging to get my hands on Genie 2 software, my Audiologist, doesn’t seem capable or doesn’t care and its getting frustrating.

Hi there, great your giving DIY a go, be sure to do some research and read the user guides before starting, you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device as well for your DIY projects.

If anyone has a link or can point me to somewhere to the new Genie software, i would appreciate it. My PC crashed and I lost the software. I DYI my Xceeds with the Noahlink for a few years now. Thanks for the help.

Hi there, yeah it’s a bummer when this happens, I always keep a backup copy on a flash drive for these very reasons.

I will take that advice for sure…thank you again
