I wear oticon excite ha from VA (both ears) . had to send them in for repair. used williams pocket walker personal amplifier as substitute. I find the personal amplifier sounds lot better than my ha ??? lot better. analog better than digital?
am I getting shaft from VA?

Sometimes a less natural sound to us is actually better at helping us understand others.
Does the amplifier help with soft speech, or speech in noisy environments too?
In a quiet room? One-to-one conversation? Hearing aids handle many more situations.
