Frequency compression: LEFT, RIGHT, or BOTH?

Id like to have advice in these terms - my curve Is not that steep to get great benefits from FC but - i was wondering what could help me.

i cant get an HP receiver atm and i tought that i could activate FC on LEFT Channel, since i dont get amplification up to 4k and 8k.

Is my reasoning right? I have an hard time figuring out which frequencies i should lower/transpose…

Why can’t you get a HP receiver for your left? and yes you can use frequency lowering on seperate sides, you don’t want to change the default settings at this time yourself, let Connexx decide to begin with and see how you like it.
