I have had Exostosis in both ears for at least 30-40 years that I know of.. Many years ago (30-40) I was referred to an ENT for surfers ear.. He scheduled me for surgery on both ears… I stared thinking about it and asked if it would help my hearing.. He said “No, but it will help with ear infections”.. I said I didn’t get ear infections, and would like to cancel the surgeries… And did… Every time I see a medical person of any type, that looks in my ears, they comment on the swimmers ear.. Even had a Dr. call over a couple of other medical folks to show them… I haven’t thought much about them until my Audi commented on them, and said they shouldn’t cause a problem with the HAs… My main thought is, am I getting the HAs in far enough?… Anyone else dealing with this? Thinking if I should go to an ENT and get his thoughts on surgery to remove them… I don’t know what % of blockage there is…
