Does anyone use oticon edumic?
It’s worth it. I wanted to test it in the car. On driving trips, I notice almost nothing of those who go after them. I tested the remote micro of the mobile phone itself and I was very happy, I realized almost everything. But there is the disadvantage of the person having to talk to my cell phone lol. With the edumic maybe I could hold the seat with the micro facing the people who go after it. What do you think?
If you just require remote mic functionality, you might consider the ConnectClip.
It depends on your use case, as the two share a lot of functions, but I believe the CClip costs less.
Either will work for the car.
I just got a EduMic today and I can pair it to one hearing aid only which you can’t do with Phonak.
Altho two ears are better than one, it’s good to know that I could get away with using two EduMic with one pair of hearing aids.
I would have to mark one EduMic as R and one EduMic as L if I did want to use two EduMics.
I have the EduMic and it comes in handy for a number of things. My wife and I are in our upper 70s. When I go out to my office to dot are I set up the EduMic and gove it to my wife she can call me is she needs me. I can hear what is going on or if someone comes to the front door. She sometimes gets severe cramps and can’t get up I know quickly and can come to help.
Do you have a problem when hearing aids switching with Edumic to an incorrect (and having no sound) microphone program instead of the TV Adapter/Edumic program?
I have TV Adaptor/ EduMic program but my EduMic seems to send my hearing aids into the correct program but it still says General program on my iPhone.
I don’t have them going to incorrect programs….so far.
