Earmold impressions taken out too soon?

Is there any danger in having ear impression taken out before they’re fully cured (perhaps risk of residue in ear after they’re taken out)? Or is it more a problem that the impressions will have defects?

When I had impressions done I felt a popping/bubbly sensation. I’m not sure if it’s the ear drying from me having previously cleaned it with water or it was the sound of the impression curing (and perhaps shrinking a little). In the latter case, I would think it would be ready when the bubbling sensation stopped, but they were taken out before that since the impressions were hard to the touch on the outside (after about 3 minutes of curing time). Is this a cause for concern or were they fully cured?

I have impression done almost every other year and have never heard the at all. I only get the stuffed up feelings.

The bubbling and popping sensation is likely something (air) moving in your Eustacian tube.

Never had any bubble feeling when I’ve had new ear molds. But all your questions will be answered when the new molds arrive. . That would be the ideal time to bring up your concerns
