Ear Wax Ear Cleaner products/tools - need recommendations

I was turned down at my hearing test for wax.

I use a spray bottle similar to one my Dr. uses.
I also use ear wax softener.
I’m a lap swimmer which probably dries out the wax.

I’m looking for possible solutions vs going for a doctor’s appointment and while wary of shoving things in my ears, I’m wondering about: Ear Wax Ear Cleaner Wireless Bluetooth Ear Wax Removal Tool Camera Ear Cleaner Ear Wax Removal Tool With Camera LED Light Ear Cleaner With Camera And Light

For a long-term solution, I irrigate my ears with warm/hot water several times a week while taking a shower. I get a small cup full of water, pull it up with a rubber bulb syringe, then use that to irrigate an ear. Repeat a few times for each ear.

I use a similar device and it works very well.

I have soft wet wax. Your dry wax should be easy to remove.

What’s the similar device? Is it a camera device that looks into the ear with light and portrays on a cell phone?

Yes, mine is by Anykit and I cast the image to my computer instead of a phone because it’s easier to view. I then use its spoon to scoop out wax.

The hardest part is that the picture is reversed so that when I move the spoon to the left the image moves to the right. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Hi Barry. I’m thinking of getting one of these. I realise that we develop ear wax at individual rates but how often do you use it?

Hi @Teewens. Terry, I use it usually once every couple of weeks, just to keep on top of my wax problem. I bought mine from Temu for £13, at the time Amazon wanted £28 for the exact same item.

I just ordered 1 on Ebay. I got the cheapest. I see one difference is pixel density. I don’t think that should make much difference. Are you doing this yourself or are you having someone else do the digging? Seems like it might be difficult to do oneself.

It’s actually quite easy to do yourself, except that the image is reversed as I mentioned previously. It takes some practice to get the scoop to move in the direction of the wax.
