Domes or Molds with Hyperacusis?

First:
Hyperacusis is a disorder in loudness perception. Patients suffering from hyperacusis may appear overly sensitive to a range of sounds, finding many noises unbearable and painfully loud.

So there are pluses and minuses with either domes or molds.
And in domes there are Open Fit, Vented Fit and Closed Fit.

Any thoughts or experiences?

SSCD hyperacusis is not really like non-SSCD hyperacusis, unfortunately. Non-SSCD hyperacusis may be more easily treatable with sound enrichment.

It’s going to depend on to what degree you can or cannot manage the occlusion, I suppose. Does closing up your ears make your internal noises a lot worse?

Interesting question.
I did a test walk outside, but didn’t come to any conclusions.
I’ll do more investigating.
