I am with Zebras, never gave it a thought even with non-rated aids. My Marvel aids are rated as IP68. My HAs are BTE.
However I usually shower before bed and take the aids out for the night. When I do shower during the day never thought about that.

I just started wearing my Oticon RIC mores in Mt left ear after a 8 week break.
I have a perforated ear drum and developed an infection in my middle ear.
Likely cause was this, damp ears and my HAs in too quick.
My infection went from a bacterial to fungal which took a long time to resolve with drops.
I received a long lesson about keeping the ears dry and when I can best put on my HAs.
Dry ears is the word.
I also clean the cones daily with 70% rubbing alcohol to kill bugs.

Is there a necessity to put the aids in your ears immediately after you come out of the shower. I have a profound loss and my routine after a shower is to dry off, shave , get dressed and then maybe out the aids back in
You can put the HA immediately after shower after you have dried the ears canal with a piece of tissue paper.If you do not have a lot of ear wax, a cotton bud will helpful to dry off the shower moisture and a little of ear wax. Just a routine exercise.
