Does anyone use the Phonak RemoteControl?

@HDFL I use the remote control because it is so much easier that fiddling with with your phone, especially when you are with other people. I picked one up on Ebay for about $20. The remote will not work if your myPhonak app is connected to your aids. But the easy fix to that is to go to the device section of your myPhonak app and select Connection Management. On that page is a Disconnect button. Once you disconnect the button will change to connect to be used in the future when you want to use the app again. I only use the myPhonak app when I want to make changes to programs or create a new program. Also holding the - button on the remote for a few seconds will mute the aids which is helpful if you are using a Roger device. If you have any issues with dexterity, I highly recommend the remote.

When I use the toggle on my aid I often shut my hearing aid off. Then I need to figure it out and start again.

Phonak design engineering gets a ‘D-’ for this setup.
