The mould in the picture below is what i am using with my nathos nova pr and it has gone all yellow in colour and a bit hard. Do I need to get this changed yet or will it still be alright for a little while longer?
If it’s doing it’s job, it’s fine. Only reasons I know for changing a mold are if it’s not comfortable or it’s no longer giving a good seal. Of course if the cosmetics bother you, you can change it.
@MDB thanks i was just curious if the fact that it had gone yellow and a bit hard mean’t it needed changing. It still feels absolutely fine and the appearance doesn’t bother me.
I’ve been using the same hard ear molds for at least 25 years. After going through the hassle of getting a pair that fit comfortably I have no interest in changing.
If the tubing is hard you can change that, if the Earmold is hard you can change it if it’s uncomfortable at all/don’t like the yellowing color but if your fine with it then you could keep it. If it starts to not seal or stay in properly then I’d suggest changing it.
