I have had a great dental work of my life for the last two years. My prosthodontist pulled out 4 teeth and three old bridges. I also had two root canals, and a gum surgery. At the end I got three dental implants, and a few new bridges. I now go to dentist’s for routine cleanings.
All this times, with different dental specialists: a prosthodontist, three periodontists, a endodontist, and a dental hygienist, I wore my BTE hearing aids. It helps me communicate with them. I don’t see any adverse effects of wearing hearing aids during the dental works. It rather help me communicate with them. I know what they are doing and when to open or close my mouth.
My eldest daughter is an endodontist that did my root canal work. We had never discussed if I should wear hearing aids or not during the treatment.
