DIY - Self Programming, How to Find Fitting Software

Does anyone have access to the phonak target Vs 5 and up? Absolutely desperate as just diagnosed with moderate hearing loss and cannot get an appointment with audio for months! Any help would be so very appreciated!

Hello, I just received my new Phonak Audéo™ Paradise P70 hearing aids and I would like to make some adjustments. Can someone send me a link to newest Phonak Target 7.0 software? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Thank you guys for the links!

Thank you so so so so much for the links! Absolute superstars! :heartpulse:

I am also looking for target software. Would you be able to share the link with me? If so, greatly appreciated.

Cheers Ron

Hi, Did you buy your P90s online then? I bought my cheap, old HAs online a few years ago. I have been considering buying P90s from a place in Cyprus for half the price they cost here in Spain. I was wondering what people’s experience is of doing this.

Cyprus Turkish side or other side? Turkey probably has the best prices but you can’t buy HA’s online in here

Yes I bought them online in the Netherlands. They had some trouble to get the paperwork for customs correct, the package was sent back to the sender. It took finally one whole month until I received it.
So you should consider what you will do in case you need to send them for service or repair.
I had a faulty HA a week ago, but found a AUDI close by who agreed to send them for a small additional fee to Phonak. The warranty was accepted without any problems
That’s the perfect solution for me now!
I didn’t use Phonak’s remote fitting option which is offered by the online-seller.
For me it was clear, to only buy online because I wanted to get into self-fitting.
Which works fine!

Could you post the name of the seller?

I’m not sure if it were against forum policy. I sent you a PM with the link to the seller.

I just came across this DIY Programming thread and wanted to ask if the Noahlink Wireless device would work for my Siemens Pure 5Px hearing aids which I purchased online back in 2018 (assuming I can bring my dead right side aid back to life - I’ve ordered a mini-receiver to see if that is my issue or not)? I went to an online site and they had a ConnexxAir Hearing Aid Programmer with software but it is much more expensive than the Noahlink Wireless although the ConnexxAir states that it comes with software but is the software they’re speaking of the latest Siemens Fitting Sofware that I would need to program my hearing aids? Also would anyone have the latest copy of the Siemens/Signia Fitting Software that they would be kind enough to share??? Thanks very much in advance…

No you’ll need the ConnxxAir for programming the Primax platform.

No idea, but you don’t need the latest version to program yours, I believe version 8 would be suitable, check your PM.

Hello,
I just received my new Phonak Marvel 70-s, but I can not get the desired results with my audiologist, so it looks like I have to do some adjustments myself.
Could you please also send me the link to Target-SW?
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi,
I just spoke with a repair lab about fixing my dead 3+ year old Siemens Pure 5Px aid and sent it off to him today but if it can’t be fixed without sending it into Siemens with the $350 fee I’ve decided to cut my losses and try the Kirkland Signature 10.0 that I believe just came out about a month ago. The price is right and so is the extended warranty if I use Costco’s Visa card to purchase them with (Thanks to Raudrive for providing that bit of info). Here’s my question, I believe Sivantos who at one time had manufactured some prior aids for Kirkland but now I understand Sonova who owns– Phonak and Unitron Brands is making the Kirkland 10.0. If I’m correct does that mean that the Phonak Target software would possibly work as Fitting Software for the 10.0 along with the Noahlink Wireless programming device? Can anyone confirm or correct my assumptions? I’m aware that this thread is how to find fitting software but I’m just trying to determine which fitting software would the Kirkland Signature 10.0 be using so if I go that route I would then try and secure the Phonak Target software before I order the programming device…

Yes absolutely, just use the search button from right here on hearingtracker for K10 programming.

Hi everyone! I need an Unitron’s software, TrueFit. If it is possible, Could you share with me? Thank you!

Tenkan,
I just heard from my tech at the repair lab in Kansas that’s trying to repair my Siemens 5Px and he believes it’s a circuitry issue but he said he was going to try something else before he gave up and returned it to me.

Since I’ve been waiting for the repair of my dead aid a deal came up on eBay for a new pair of Signia’s Pure 5Nx 312’s that I couldn’t pass up. The seller wasn’t sure that Signia would honor their warranty since the provider that first received these had a problem with the serial nos. on his paperwork so Signia sent the provider a replacement pair. He assures me that they were sent out to the provider in January of 2020 and have never been fitted before but I suspect if Signia sent the provider some replacements then Signia would not honor the original warranty of this pair but for the price he let them go for (under $400 for both) I figured I would roll the dice and hope for the best.

They were originally labeled for Tru-Hearing so I assume the provider was in their network. I loaded the latest Connexx software today from Signia via a share-it website that I found on Signia and have ordered a Noahlink Wireless to use for programming and I’ve already began by setting up my client name with the audiogram stored away until I get the new hearing aids connected next week after they are received.

Once I link them to Noahlink Wireless do I just import my latest audiogram from last week’s test and then will it load what the software thinks is the best setup for my audiogram? Since this will be my first attempt at self programming I’m not sure if I load each left and right aid separately or do I have both coupled with Noahlink and will it load the left and right at the same time based on the individual audiograms that I loaded and saved today? I know I’m just a newbie with a lot to learn but I know there are plenty of experience programmers on this forum and I would really appreciate some specific pointers…

These are great HAs, I like Signia and use myself.

Good deal actually, sure even if you only get 12 months out of them, at that price you can throw them away and get another set!

Yes and no, as you’ll need to set your HA by choosing molds (vent size as well) or domes, you can actually bypass this with fastFit in Connexx Software, but best to set them to what you’ll actually be using.

Yes both at the same time.

It’s all pretty easy and you’ll get the hang of the software really quick.

Let us how you get on, just keep the questions coming, everyone will chime in to help.

Ok I’ve been using the 10mm open click domes so I’ll look for those when I open up to pair the aids with the software.
Thanks for the help and once I get deeper into the software I know I’ll have questions but the earlier selection of the proper hearing aids I’ll be working with and the input of the audiograms went well for me today, can’t wait until I receive the aids to start the tweaking process.

Will I choose how I want to setup each channel or will the software pre-assign each channel for a specific purpose to begin with?

The channels are pre defined depending on the fitting algorithm used, stick with Signia first fit to begin with, you can always experiment with different types at a later date.

Can I suggest starting another post on this topic, as this thread is far to long already, with new topics started you’ll always get a lot more “hits” and comments from the community.
