Well, some clever DIYer may get it to work and apply changes to his/her hearing aid settings via a cellphone App, without the need for an audiologist, and also without the need for a professional account login.
But don’t forget about the initial requirements. That is, you still need to run a fitting session, using the fitting software, on a computer (not an App). And, the fitting software requires a hearing aid programming device/hardware, in order to make the initial connection between your hearing aids and the fitting software.
Am I missing something?
I can understand how remote changes are more convenient than office visits. But for DIYers, why use a two-step process to make changes (remotely-whatever-that-means-for-a-DIYer) when you can accomplish the same results with just a normal one-step fitting session?
