I am currently using KS9.0 and have also purchased a LUMITY from eBay.
I plan to DIY and replace my KS9.0 with the LUMITY.
1.I have already connected the KS9.0 to TARGET and created a customer profile for the KS9.0.
2.I have also connected the new LUMITY to TARGET and imported the settings (the previous user).
3.I have replaced the receiver and dome of the LUMITY with the same model as the original KS9.0.
I would like to ask :
1.How can I completely copy the settings from the KS9.0 to the new LUMITY?
2.Or should I re-enter the audiogram, re-select the formula, and then proceed with the initial fitting process?
I would suggest option 2 - input audiogram - select fitting formula - perform initial fitting.
I would also recommend performing AudiogramDirect - you will be able to compare its results with your Audiogram. You will normally see small changes - that would be expected. Large differences could indicate a problem - do not deviate too far from your “official” audiogram.
The Lumitys will probably open up some more options within Target - being the current newest tech level - so you will have to experiment to find what works best for you.
You could use the export/import feature, although it doesn’t do an exact copy of everything, so you’ll most likely need to make some manual changes anyway, so option 2 as has already been mentioned with In-situ audiometry (AudiogramDirect) is looking good.
