I have a pair of Phonak Audeo M70 hearing aids
Listening to music on tv or Youtube the higher frequency sound is not distorted.
Listening on my hifi I experience distortion on the higher frequencies
Presumably the difference is caused by the compression or low bits used on tv?
Any help would be appreciated

Your Audiogram would help greatly @Aljoh10… It gives others on here, some idea of what your loss is like, we have a few resident experts, whom are Professional Audiologists… Cheers Kev 
Whatever the reason is the best solution to me seems to have a man in the middle/ streaming solution in between. TV streamer or headphones…
