Custom molds available for Costco KS9 and price

Several custom molds are available from Phonak for the Marvels (acrylic and titanium slim tips, silicon and a c shell). Anybody know what Costco offers for the KS9 and what the price is?

I got close to trying the KS9 but never did, so my experience is with the Rexton KS8. From everything I could see, Costco just goes to the manufacturer for custom molds. So, I would expect they will offer what Phonak offers. As for price I’m guessing in the $100 range for a pair based on what I paid for Rexton molds.

I guess I was thinking the titanium ones might be more, or not offered because they would have to charge more?

I trialed Marvel M90s and toyed with the idea of titanium molds. My audi told me the cost for the acrylic and titanium molds is the same. However the titanium molds have to be made or repaired in Switzerland and that adds a week to manufacture or repair.

Costco charges $79.95 for a pair of molds regardless of the type or material.

I use Slimtips which I ordered a few weeks ago. My audi said the choices are quite straight forward: silicone for solid and acrylic for hollow ones. He recommended silicone because of the issues with acrylic hollow tips. Titanium ones are not part of the KS9 deal, not in Canada anyway.

I might be completely wrong but it seems to me that if the K9s really are stripped down Marvels, any Audi that deals with Phonak should, and would, make titanium molds. Then, again maybe not, you could go back to Costco for any necessary readjustment needed.

Pretty sure that both my audi and my Costco would do that. YMMV!

I paid $80 for a pair. 10 day waiting time. They fit fine
BUT my Costco experience has totally sucked. I actually had 2 visits today, a fitting with a trip home t find out they were not working, no voice amplification, phone apk did not work either. Went back and was asked do you have an appointment?
The tech reattached them to the phonology program and made several changes…
I have neuropathy in both hands.never the either tech show me how to insert the aids. Maybe the tech has eyes that can see the side of his head. A model head would have helped to demonstrate correct insulation
Now6 hrs later the left ear is not working. These aids worked fine for 6 months. So tomorrow I must call and beg for an appointment
