CP1110 first trial

Found the result for the first Clinical trial for the CP1110 BTE processor. I’m assuming this is the N8.

The 2nd trial is still ongoing until November 2022. These trials are in the US and wee Aussies are always last place in the distribution line.

The N7 is the CP1000.
The K2 is the CP1150.
This new processor is the CP1110.

Curious is the K2 will be a firmware update for its upgrade?

The attachment mentions sound reduction changes for the new processor. I have found I like less sound reduction.

Thanks for the update.

Correction to the Kanso 2 model number.

Rick your question about firmware upgrade :woman_shrugging: I have no idea…

It’ll be interesting the new N8 to see what new features there are.

Where do regular sized Aussies fit in the time line?

That “wee” is my Scottish heritage coming out.

Us Aussies are always last when it come to processors being released. It usually starts in Germany, Europe, USA, Australia, NZ and Asia are always last.

Nucleus 6 = CP910 / CP920
Nucleus 7 = CP1000
Nucleus 7 SE = CP1001
Nucleus 7S = CP1002

Kanso 1 = CP950
Kanso 2 = CP1100

I also thought CP1110 could be a Kanso 2 variation by the number logic, but the call for the study says it’s a BTE device. Kanso is an OTE.

How N7S and SE are going to be launched this year, I guess the CP1110 will be released after 2024.
