I am a month plus into wearing these hearing aids from Costco:
I started with medium size vented domes and they dislodged when eating. I tried the small and that was worst. So, I did the large and that size has been the best, but still during the day I have to give a slight push to get the right one back in place(kind of like pushing your glasses back on your nose). I also found that the large vented dome provides the best sound(no voice occlusion). I ask the Costco audiologist about getting an ear mold for them and was told that these hearing aids cannot be molded and he said that even a mold dislodges and can be worst. I would have to start over with a different hearing aid. I like the CIC a lot because of no wind noise and not having to deal with glasses and the behind the ear.
The question is should I push for new hearing aids that can be molded? Or just live with it.
