Update the firmware for your Kirkland Signature hearing aids
If you use Kirkland Signature hearing aids from Costco, update their firmware to use them with your iOS device if it has iOS 9.2.

When you update your iOS device to iOS 9.2, it will unpair your Kirkland Signature hearing aids from your device. You need to make an appointment with your Costco audiologist to update the firmware for your hearing aids. After the firmware is updated, you need to pair your hearing aids to your device again.

I think you should at least try the Rexton Trax 42s.
For the last 3 weeks of the KS6 trial, I also had the Trax 42s. I found them blissfully peaceful in comparison. The Noise/Party program was very effective, and in the beginning I used it a lot in situations like driving. As time has passed, I hardly ever need it any more and leave the aids in the Automatic program.

Shopping for my first set of HAs. Considering Signia/Siemens Primax 7 because my greatest problem is hearing speech in restaurants or reverberant environments. The lower cost of Trax 42s would be attractive if their software were good in such conditions. I know that the Costco Phonax are one full generation behind (Q instead of V) and soon will be two generations back.

Do you know whether the Rexton Trax is the same as Siemens Binax or one generation behind Binax?

I believe it was posted somewhere previously that Trax 42 is same as Binax except for tinnitus masking feature, which is disabled.
