I’m trying to activate the APP for Connect Smart Remote.
I’ve downloaded the APP into my IPOD and the instructions ask me to switch on my hearing aids for up to 3 min before placing them into your ears.
I guess I’m dumb, but aren’t the hearing aids ON already? Subsequently I was to hear a confirmation sound indicating a successful pairing. I didn’t hear anything, so…
The hearing aids are in paring mode for up to 3 minutes from the time you switch them on. So you need to complete the setup process within that time, or start over.
Hi. I have the same problem. Did not install the Connexx Smart Remote app on my iPhone at the time of my hearing aids purchase and setup (Rexton Trax 42 from Costco). How does one “start over” and get back to the pairing mode for the hearing aids? Thanks!
What is the function of the “Broadcast Level” settings on the Smart Remote app. I’ve played around with the three settings (Low, Medium, High) and it’s not obvious to me. Thanks.
I have been using my hearing aids with the Smart Remote app successfully since I have had my hearing aids. However, as of yesterday, the Smart Remote does not appear to be pairing. I have changed the batteries in my hearing aids, changed the broadcast level to high and reinstalled the app.
If you reinstalled the app, you’d need to through the pairing process again, by opening battery doors on hearing aids, start the process with the app and close battery doors. To get it fully synced with your programs and use all features, you need the code to scan from a printout from Costco. However, you should be able to do without code, but I think you lose battery meter (useless anyway) and have to name your programs. If doesn’t work, may be something wrong and require a visit to Costco.
