Short version:
Could anybody help me to find the Connexx 9 or later software for Rexton R Li 40 hearing aids? To run in a Mac if possible.
Detailed version: I’m a sound engineer and recently my dad got some hearing aids. Thing is he lives in the country side and recently got a pair of Rexton R Li 40 hearing aids. Now the audiologist (bless her) in the nearest town is a bit old school and not what you would call “tech savy” so I was wondering if I can get the “Connexx” software (current version 9) to tweak them for him?
Welcome to the forum, great your willing to give your dad some help, it’s not too hard but please read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time, you’ll also need the Noahlink wireless programming device for any projects, it’s the Rexton flavoured Connexx software that’s needed for Rexton, unfortunately all the software is windows based so Mac OS can be problematic, you’ll need bootcamp or some other virtual machine, also be aware that Noahlink wireless doesn’t work with ARM based chips.
Hi there, yeah if you r doing this for someone else do be careful and make sure to read the user guides before jumping in, it’s not that hard and Connexx does have a demo mode that you use to get familiar with how things work, you’ll also need the hardware the Noahlink wireless programming device.
My dad says the lady in the shop uses her phone and not the Noahlink antenna, although it could be the case he didn’t see right. I’ll do some research on the Noahlink, are you sure it’s the only way?!

Yeah it’s the way you do this, the phone App can only do so much, and there is “remote support” but the easiest way is with the software and the Noahlink wireless as it’s the industry standard for programming.
I see, thanks for this. Well I’ll risk on that manual a bit and see what I can do. Do you know if there are alternatives for the noahlink device?, it’s a bit expensive here.
