I have changed my iPhone and Bluetooth will only find my right aid.sorry I’m a dinosaur.Phonak naida sp
If you just want to stream audio and phone calls , you are just fine with one connection hearing aid (the right device). So you only need one connection to the right side.
Because phonak devices uses for streaming only one connection to one device of a pair of hearing aids, and this is normaly the right aid, which is behaving as the master hearing aid.
The master hearing aid is also wireless connected to the left (slave) hearing aid and the right hearing aid transmitting the audio stream to the left hearing aid.
So it is all good and streaming/phone calls are working if you have paired bluetooth just with the right hearing aid device.
Do you remember seeing it connected to both on the old phone?
As long as sound is in both ears then it’s all good. And music should be real stereo.
Are you trying to connect an app or just streaming? @firenzel gave you good information on streaming. If you are trying to connect an app there should be two LE connections in addition to the one discussed above.
Hi Raylock, thanks for your reply, yes i used to have one right and two left aids connected on Bluetooth. And yes I was trying to connect my aids to the Phonak app with no luck. And many thanks to the other people who tried to help me.
