Connecting / Pairing Roger On In to only one (left) hearing aid

Hi, My Mum has a single left Phonak L90-RT and I have seen some V2 Roger On (IN) going cheap on ebay. She can’t afford the latest V3 so I was wondering how easy it will be to pair. I have read on this forum that only right L90’s are set as ‘master’ so would a left aid need to be configured by an audiologist to act as master before Roger On would work? I use the my Phonak app to control certain settings if this helps?

No, the Roger microphones are not Master/Slave connected like classic Blutooth devices.

Every of the availabe Roger iN microphones can connect directly to your single left L90 hearing aid. You need to install a Roger Receiver first , then connect.
Note: Only the Roger iN enabled mics can provide receiver(s)

If you don’t have a Phonak Pin-Tool you can alternatively use a toothpic, paper clip, thick needle, etc.

The next video showing the accessories you will need if you have a Roger non iN microphone. Or you need to find an audiologist who have an Roger installer.

Thanks for this @firenzel. It will probably be a couple of weeks till I get this but will feedback on how it goes.
